What was just supposed to be a quick Sunday drive around the German town of Gottingen ended up as a 770 km detour for a somewhat confused 73-year-old German motorist, according to Frederiksborg Amts Avis.
Police in the Northern Zealand town of Hillerød received reports of a possible drunken driver whose vehicle was seen trying to navigate roads in the provincial city near Copenhagen. Instead, police found a clearly confused older motorist from Germany behind the wheel.
