The European Union will be providing EUR 7.2 billion over the next three years to help developing countries in their efforts to mitigate climate change, according to Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (Lib).
The funds will predominantly be made available to those developing countries hardest hit by climate change and with fewest funds to pay for projects.
