The mayoral climate summit, with some 80 city mayors from around the world, is under way in Copenhagen under the ‘Cities Act’ banner .
“We are pleased that more than 80 Mayors have come to Copenhagen to share with us their efforts to meet the climate challenges and to show the heads of state the importance of supporting the world’s cities in this crucial task,” says Copenhagen Lord Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard (Soc.Dem.) for whom the mayoral summit is one of her final duties prior to retirement.
