An EU offer of just over EUR 7 billion over the next three years is just not enough to help mitigate the effects of climate change in Africa and other G-77 countries, according to the organisation’s chief negotiator Lumumba Stanislaus Di-Aping.

“The European leaders are acting as if they are climate sceptics, as if the problem doesn’t exist. So they don’t give any money,” Di-Aping says.
