A former Danish soccer star will be starting the New Year in court with a defensive play against luxury fashion producers Gucci of Italy and Hermès of France on claims of copycat production of their bags, according to Børsen.
Harald Nielsen, who was dubbed Golden Harald, made his soccer name as a centre forward in the 1960s – playing for the Danish national team, Bologna, Inter, Napoli and Sampdoria. He is also credited with having been a primus motor in the introduction of professional soccer in Denmark in the late 1970s.
