Copenhagen police and rescue authorities are warning people to stay off the ice on lakes in and around the capital, as it is not safe despite the cold weather.

Over the weekend, police officers with megaphones have been calling people off the ice, particularly in central Copenhagen, where council warning signs had not yet been set up.
