The latest figures from Statistics Denmark show that 122,700 or 4.4 percent were unemployed in November 2009.
Unemployment was at its lowest in June 2008 when 45,800 were without a job. Since then 76,900 have lost their jobs – an increase to November 2009 of 168 percent.
