The first real snowstorm of the year has hit Denmark with heavy snow in central and northern Jutland which the Met Office says may dump up to half a metre across the region.
“It’s a snowstorm in which between 20 and 50 centimetres of snow will fall over the next 24 hours. Many roads will be closed,” says Duty Met Officer Jørn Thomsen.
