The vision of converting the Kødbyen meat market into Copenhagen’s very own answer to New York’s Meatpacking District seems now to have taken off.

The bare slaughterhouse area is well on the way to becoming a new power centre in the city with cafés, galleries, restaurants and 24-hour access. At the moment, it seems that something new opens every other day in Den Hvide Kødby (The White Meat Market).
