One more week for terminus

The black box bus terminus on Copenhagen Town Hall Square, which was much criticised when it was built in 1995, will be gone from the square in a week’s time to make way for the construction of the new metro line.

The terminus was built as a ticketing office for Copenhagen bus services. Once finished, however, its modernistic appearance among the historical buildings in the square caused widespread controversy, with demands that it should be removed.
