German police have filed charges of involuntary manslaughter against a Danish bus driver whose bus carrying children, teachers and parents on a skiing trip to Austria crashed into the central barrier on a motorway in Germany on Saturday, killing three adults.
“He is being charged with involuntary manslaughter. This is standard procedure and just as much in order to ensure his legal rights,” Dessau Police Spokeswoman Bianca Müller tells Ekstra Bladet but adds it is not certain that the 49-year-old driver will be prosecuted.
