ISS loses identity info for 9,500

Collated personal information on some 9,500 personnel of the ISS group, including names, central personal register (cpr) identity numbers and addresses, have been lost in the post, raising fears of identity theft should the information fall into the wrong hands.

ISS CEO Maarten van Engeland says the information that has been lost is a digital copy of some 9,500 of ISS’ 11,000 employee holiday cards, including personal details.
