As Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen’s new cabinet takes shape, one of the high profile casualties of the reshuffle is now former Defence Minister Søren Gade, who has asked not to be reappointed.
“My political room for maneuver has been seriously restricted, and that is something I cannot live with as a minister,” Gade tells Jyllands-Posten adding:”It would be unbearable for me if my person stood in the way of taking the right decisions”.
