China says it is willing to look at further cutbacks to mitigate climate change, provided that the European Union, the United States and other industrial countries are willing to honour demands from the developing countries.
“If the developing countries demands can be satisfied, then we are prepared to discuss a demand to halve CO2 emissions in 2050,” says China’s Development Minister Xie Zenhua.
