The latest figures from Statistics Denmark show a small drop in the number of unemployed in January – down by a seasonally adjusted 200 to 118,000 or 4.2 percent of the workforce.
But over a three-month period, unemployment has increased by 2,300 or two percent. In Greater Copenhagen alone, unemployment has risen by 10 percent since October.
