At 7 a.m. this morning, the winter season that began on December 1 ended – at least for the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI) which released its report on the meteorological winter.
“We have had a winter with a mean temperature of minus 1.5 degrees – and that is two degrees colder than the +0.5 degrees that is normal for this period,” says DMI Data and Climate Information Manager Lone Seir Carstensen.
