The BiBob mobile telecoms company in Denmark has entered the fray to break what some claimed to be attempts by Apple to bind its iPad customers to a particular telecoms provider.
Apple has been criticised in Denmark for in effect using a technological lock to block consumers from changing from the telecoms company Apple eventually chooses as its supplier. Apple’s new iPad uses a micro-SIM card which none of the existing telecoms companies have, and which some experts say will take a long time to introduce.
