The Roman Catholic Bishop of Norway has reacted angrily to reports that his German predecessor, who was sacked for abusing a minor, has continued his ministry in the small German town of Georgsmarienhütte near Osnabrück in northern Germany.
“This is improper and unacceptable,” current Trondheim Bishop Bernt Eidsvig tells Adresseavisen adding he intends to contact the Vatican’s diplomatic representative in the Nordic region, Papal Nuntius Archbishop Giovanni Tonucci on Thursday to discuss the issue.
