Denmark’s Catholic Church has called on victims alleging abuse by church staff to contact the church’s newly appointed committee designed to investigate claims.
“I would wish that those people who make claims should come forward so that we can do something about it. We can’t do anything with an anonymous story about an anonymous priest. At the same time I think that those people who come forward with stories should think that there are a lot of other priests who come under suspicion,” Fr. Niels Engelbrecht tells TV2 this morning.
