Since 1999, ticket prices on public transport have risen more than twice as fast as general price increases and a third more than the price of driving a car.
According to a report from Traffic Minister Hans Christian Schmidt to the Parliamentary Traffic Committee and reported in Jyllands-Posten, ticket prices on buses or trains have risen 58 percent in the past 10 years.
