Air traffic in Denmark and most of the Nordic region remains at a standstill as a result of the volcanic ash cloud sweeping over the region and much of northern Europe from Iceland.

Air Traffic authorities will be deciding later this morning whether aircraft can begin flying in and out of the region again at noon, although Naviair, which monitors Danish air space, says it seems unlikely given weather conditions.
