The Danish Asthma-Allergy Association is warning asthmatics across the country to be aware that the volcanic ash cloud slowly making its way across Denmark may cause them problems.
“If the particles get down to nose level, they can cause attacks, and the smaller the particles, the further down the respiratory passages they go,” says Asthma-Allergy Association Communications Manager Lise Nørgaard.
