The Danish Meteorological Institute has issued a warning for potentially risky volcanic ash concentrations, despite a Danish Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Naviair decision earlier to fully open Danish airspace.
Naviair controls Danish airspace and bases its aviation decisions on the same data that the Danish Meteorological Office uses – the British Met Office. The UK Met Office, according to their Danish counterparts, are unable to determine the concentration of volcanic ash that is forecast to cover Denmrk later today.
