Vestas has closed its biggest ever single order, to deliver up to 2,100 MW to the world’s third largest wind power generator EDP Renovavéis of Portugal in North and South America and Europe.
In all, Vestas is to deliver turbines with an overall capacity of 1,500 MW with an option for a further 600 MW. The agreement also includes an extendable, two—year service and maintenance agreement.
