The idea of selling the struggling Scandinavian Airlines System is not anathema to the Danish government, provided that it happens at the right time and for the right price.
“I have no second thoughts in selling SAS. We must consider it once the financial crisis has waned. We could use the money to operate our welfare state. And you can see that private companies around the world have done a better job than SAS in many ways,” says Minister for Economic and Business Affairs Brian Mikkelsen (Cons.).
