The German railway service company Deutsche Bahn has decided to acquire Britain’s Arriva public transport company for 1.5 billion pounds (DKK 13.4 billion) according to AFP.
Arriva runs buses, trains and other motorized services across Europe, handling some one billion passengers each year. The company says it employs some 44,000 people in 12 European countries.
