Danske Bank has returned a First Quarter net profit of DKK 769 million, half its result in the same quarter last year but better than at the end of 2009 and marginally better than analyst forecasts.
The bank itself says its result bears the mark of ‘very difficult national economic conditions on several of the Group’s markets”.
