Firemen have been battling since early this morning to put out a fire that has gripped the Danish Pharmacist Association's Dehn's Mansion on the corner of Bredgade and Frederiksgade in Copenhagen. A large part of Bredgade remains closed to all traffic.
The alarm was raised at about 3 a.m. this morning. Some 14 fire engines were called to the scene to find flames gushing out of the the roof of the building. The Fire Chief at the scene says there is no longer any danger of the fire spreading to neighbouring buildings.
