Only some 18 percent of the Danish electorate thinks Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen can win the next election, while a full 73 percent forecast an opposition victory, according to the latest Green’s poll for Børsen.
The drop in confidence in the prime minister is not just reserved for opposition voters. According to the poll, 48 percent of Liberal Party voters believe he will lose the next election to Social Democratic Leader Helle Thorning Schmidt, with 40 percent suggesting he could win.
