Many non-Danes who live and work in Denmark drive cars with foreign number plates – thus cheating Danish state coffers for millions of kroner in taxes.
In one year, the tax authorities in the cities of Struer and Herning have confiscated 32 cars with foreign number plates. The cars include Audis, BMWs and Ford Mustangs, according to TV/MIDT-VEST.
