The Danish Lib-Con government has put forward its austerity plan, which is designed to put Denmark into line with EU convergence criteria.
The ‘Restoration Plan’ as it is being called, envisages among other initiatives, a freeze in transfer payment amounts, a postponement of high-end tax relief and a five percent cut in ministers’ salaries.
