The Iranian ambassador to Denmark has received an apology from Copenhagen’s Police Director Johann Reimann following an incident last week when demonstrators entered the embassy grounds and vandalized parts of the embassy building and its vehicles.
Police at the scene were unable to stop the demonstrators, but reinforcements eventually prevented the situation from developing further and four people were arrested.
