An almost 15-meter Finback whale has stranded in shallow waters just off the Vejle Fjord coast, according to Southeast Jutland Police.
The Vejle Fire Brigade has been sent out to the animal with hosing equipment in order to keep it moist, and a wild animal consultant from the Esbjerg Maritime Museum has been called to determine what can be done for the whale. It is hoped that the whale will be able to swim away at high tide, which is due in the area at 2 p.m.
