The Danish Forest and Nature Agency has decided not to put down an ailing Finback whale that has been aground in Vejle Fjord for several days and is expected to die soon.
“Since the whale ran aground, we have been in constant touch with the experts, who say that it is best to let the whale die naturally,” says Ranger Henrik Lykke Sørensen, who is in charge of the section for beached mammals at the Agency.
