The Danish government has decided not to list DONG Energy on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, according to Børsen, in what would have been a move to partially or wholly privatise the energy producer and provide several billion kroner to public coffers.

According to Børsen’s information, the government is outwardly maintaining its stance that a postponement of a DONG listing is the result of current market conditions that make a public offering inopportune at the moment.
