A large number of police officers, police dogs and the Danish Navy Seals are in the process of searching the Vollsmose Estate in Odense on Funen to find weapons, in an operation that started at 4 a.m. this morning, according to Funen Police Dep. Chief Supt. Torben Schultz.
“What we are looking for is whether weapons and other interesting things are hidden out there… Experience shows that people in the area are able to arm themselves with cudgels, knives or guns relatively quickly,” Schultz tells Politiken.dk.
