The Danish Command and Support Vessel Absalon has left Denmark for the Gulf of Aden to take over command of NATO vessels patrolling the area on anti-piracy missions.
It is Absalon’s second tour of anti-piracy duty off Africa. A year ago the vessel was at the head of the international Task Force 150 on similar operations.
