The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has reported Saxo Bank to the Special Attorney for Economic Crime for investigation, alleging that the bank’s monitoring systems are not secure enough to prevent murky dealings.
According to the Authority, which has concluded an investigation of Saxo Bank, there is a particularly high risk that the bank is susceptible to being abused by those wishing to finance terrorism or launder money. This due to Saxo Bank’s many transactions and activities in many different countries, Ritzau reports.
