The Social Democratic Leader HelleThorning-Schmidt has been criticised for having provided wrong information to the authorities in a case involving the number of days her husband spent in Denmark in order to achieve partial transfer to joint ownership of the couple’s house in Denmark.
But new information in the case suggests Thorning Schmidt was later aware of a discrepancy, and checked with the relevant authorities whether the discrepancy would have made any difference.
