A Ukrainian-Israeli dual national alleged to be one of the world’s top superhackers has been detained by police in France on a U.S. indictment as he attempted to leave Nice for Russia, according to reports.

The 27-year-old, said to be Vladislav Anatolievitch Horohorin or BadB, who is said to have been one of the founders of the CarderPlanet network, was arrested at Nice Airport as he boarded an aircraft for home. He was charged with cyber-crime, faces up to 10 years in prison, millions of dollars in fines and possible deportation to the United States.
