The chairman of the Danish trade union confederation LO seems prepared to amend the Danish labour market model, under which employers and employees alone determine wages without political meddling, according to Ekstra Bladet (EB).

“Cheap Eastern European labour is a major and increasing problem. So I would not rule out that it may become necessary to have legislation in the collective bargaining system,” LO Chairman Harald Børsting tells EB.
