A young Danish man swam for hours to get help after the dinghy he and five others had made out in for a fishing trip capsized off Sandøy in southern Norway, with several of the group still missing, according to vg.no.
The man, who said he had swum about six kilometres, and his friends had made out in a small boat which developed engine problems and eventually capsized after being struck by a rogue breaking wave. According to initial reports from the Norwegian Rescue Service, the group had not taken life jackets with them.
