Denmark may increase its emergency aid to Pakistan in the light of the floods that have ravaged the country.

“We cannot rule out that further Danish efforts are needed – also in terms of emergency aid. But I am also here today to urge other countries to open their wallets,” Foreign Minister Lene Espersen (Cons.) said at an emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly.
