Britain’s Edinburgh-based Cairn Energy company is to announce on Tuesday an update to its results of exploratory drilling off the coast of Greenland, where various pre-drilling reports have suggested there may be major oil reserves.
“We will be giving a Stock Exchange update in London on August 24. We will be publishing our preliminary results and are therefore obliged to inform our shareholders,” Cairn Energy Commercial and Legal Director Simon Thomsen tells Greenland’s KNR.
