The Danish navy’s inspection vessel Vædderen has positioned itself close to Greenpeace’s Esperanza in Baffin Bay and has made it clear that it will board the Greenpeace vessel and arrest its captain if a no approach zone around a rig is not respected.
According to reports, several other naval vessels are either nearby, or on their way to the Greenland west coast.
