The Danish deficit for 2011 will be at DKK 78.7 billion next year or 4.4 percent of GDP, according to the government’s newest figures and as Finance Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen prepares to announce his budget proposal today.
But according to Sydbank Chief Economist Jacob Graven, the figures should be seen in the light of the government’s growth estimates over the next year.
