The government wants the school day to be longer and to stop young pupils getting off school at 12.30 or even earlier, according to Nordjyske.
During a visit in Aalborg yesterday, Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said that he and the government intend to suggest that the number of lessons for junior classes be increased.
