Development Aid Minister Søren Pind has written to Ekstra Bladet that it appears that the Taleban has been paid protection money in connection with a Danish school construction project near the Helmand Province capital of Lashkar Gah.

The reports of protection money to the Taleban have previously been denied by the minister and the Foreign Ministry.
