Lene Espersen’s (Cons) explanations in Parliament and to the media on rates paid to private hospitals by the national health service have come under renewed scrutiny following the release of a Health Ministry memo saying that payments could be reduced by 25 percent.
Espersen said yesterday that she had only discussed payment rates with her party colleague, former Health Minister Jakob Axel Nielsen (Cons), before stating that rates were too high.
