Conservative Party Leader and Foreign Minister Lene Espersen has written to the Parliamentary Presidium to apologise for her answer in Parliament on the issue of overpayments to private hospitals.
In her letter, Espersen admits not having fully answered a Parliamentary Ministerial Question put by Jonas Dahl (SocPeople) on the issue of payment rates to private hospitals. In her 2009 answer, Espersen stated that a Conservative proposal to reduce rates by 25 percent did not come from her own ministry, but was something that emanated from her Conservative Party parliamentary group.
